Vietnam visa for foreign organization
Vietnam visa for the foreign organization allows foreigners entering Vietnam to work with international/nonprofit companies, or authority offices in Vietnam. There are 3 types of Vietnam visa which are symbol NN1, NN2, NN3.
Subjects are eligible to get NN1, NN2, NN3 visa
- NN1 Visa - Issued to Managers of representative offices or projects of international organizations and foreign non-governmental organizations in Vietnam.
- NN2 Visa - Issued to heads of representative offices, branches of foreign traders, representative offices of other foreign economic, cultural, professional organizations in Vietnam.
- NN3 Visa - Issued to people who come to work with foreign non-governmental organizations, representative offices, branches of foreign traders, representative offices of other foreign economic, cultural, professional organizations in Vietnam.
The duration of Vietnam visa for foreign organization
Vietnam visas with symbols NN1, NN2, and NN3 are issued for a maximum duration of no more than 12 months. In case foreigners enter Vietnam with NN1, NN2 visa, they will be granted a Temporary Residence Card with the same symbol and with a term of no more than 03 years. When the Temporary Residence Card expires, a new card will be considered.
NN1, NN2, NN3 visa application fees
Depending on whether it is a single entry visa or multiple entry visa, the NN1, NN2, NN3 visa fees will be different. Specifically:
- Single entry visa: 25 USD/pcs
- Visa types with validity of no more than 03 months: 50 USD/pcs
- Visa types with validity from more than 03 to 06 months: 95 USD/pcs
- Visa types with validity from more than 06 months to 12 months: 135 USD/pcs
- Visa types with validity from more than 1 year to 2 years: 145 USD/pcs
The processing time of NN1, NN2, NN3 visa
The processing time for NN1, NN2, NN3 visa at the Immigration Department is about 5 working days, from the date of receiving the complete documents. In many cases, Vietnam visa processing time can take from 7-10 days.

Instruct on applying for Vietnam visa for foreign organization
To apply for a Vietnam entry visa with a foreign organization, the guarantor/foreigner needs to prepare the following documents:
Inviting and guarantor in Vietnam:
- Type of visa and the entry time of foreigners.
- Documents or papers proving working with international organizations, foreign non-governmental organizations in Vietnam, and representative offices of economic and cultural organizations,...
- Application form for Approval Entry Letter of Guarantee - NA2 form
- Copy of passport.
- Application form for authentication of signatures and seals from the inviting and guaranteeing units - NA16 Form
- Other required documents.
Applicant (foreigner)
- The application for a Vietnam visa is according to the prescribed form - NA1 Form.
- 02 photo cards, taken within 6 months.
- Original passports of foreigners with a minimum validity of 6 months.
- Copy of Vietnam Approval Entry Letter
- Other required documents from the consular side according to specific cases.
