Application for investment temporary residence card
Investment temporary residence card with the code of ĐT is granted to foreign investors who are investors, shareholders of enterprises in Vietnam. The maximum validity period of the investment temporary residence card is 10 years. Documents to apply for investment temporary residence card shall include:
+ Original passport of the foreign investor, the remaining validity period of passport is preferably more than 13 months.
+ 02 2x3 photos, white background.
+ Temporary residence registration form certified by the local police where the investor resides.
+ Declaration to apply for temporary residence card, form NA8.
+ Written request for temporary residence card from the sponsoring enterprise, form NA6.
+ Legal documents of the enterprise.
+ Some documents related to the operation of the enterprise (if required).
Application for labor temporary residence card
Labor temporary residence card with the code of LĐ (LĐ1, LĐ2) is granted to foreigners with Vietnam visa according to the proper labor purpose. The maximum validity period of the labor temporary residence card is up to 02 years, depending on the term of the employment contract signed with the sponsoring unit or enterprise in Vietnam.
Documents to apply for labor temporary residence card shall include:
+ Valid original passport as prescribed.
+ 02 2x3 photos, white background.
+ Temporary residence registration form certified by the local police where the foreign worker resides.
+ Declaration to apply for temporary residence card, form NA8.
+ Written request for temporary residence card from the sponsoring enterprise, form NA6.
+ Original Vietnam work permit.
+ Legal documents of the sponsoring enterprise.
+ Some other documents at the request of the immigration agency.
Application for temporary residence card for visiting relatives
Temporary residence card for visiting relatives with the code of TT is granted to:
+ Foreigners who are relatives (spouses or children) of a foreigner who is legally working in Vietnam.
+ Foreigners under the age of 18 with a Vietnamese parent.
+ Foreigners who are the spouses of Vietnamese people.
The maximum validity period of the temporary residence card for visiting relatives is 03 years. Basic documents to apply for this type of temporary residence card shall include:
+ Valid original passport as prescribed.
+ 02 2x3 photos, white background.
+ Confirmation of temporary residence registration certified by the local police where the foreigner resides.
+ Declaration to apply for temporary residence card, form NA8.
+ Documents proving the relationship:
If the foreigner is the spouse or child of a foreigner working in Vietnam, the additional documents shall be:
+ Legal documents of the sponsoring enterprise where the foreign worker is working in Vietnam.
+ Passport and temporary residence card (the remaining validity period shall be more than 12 months) of the foreign worker who is working in Vietnam.
+ Written request for temporary residence card, form NA6.
If the foreigner under 18 years old has a Vietnamese parent, or a Vietnamese spouse as his/her sponsor, the additional documents shall be:
+ Identity papers of relatives who are Vietnamese citizens.
+ Declaration to sponsor for temporary residence card, form NA7.
