- Have a passport or valid international travel document.
- Guarantee company or enterprise has legal status in Vietnam
- Have not been banned from entering Vietnam as specified in Article 21 of Law No. 47/2014/QH13 (forced to leave Vietnam, forged documents, ..)
- There are documents proving the purpose of entry (invitation letter, ...) depending on the case.
How to apply for a DN1 visa?
Foreigners who want to have a DN1 visa can apply through:
- Apply for a visa directly at the Consulate General of Vietnam abroad.
- Apply for a business visa at the international border gate
- Apply for an electronic Business visa (E-visa Vietnam)
Notice:
- Applying for a visa at a Consulate or an international border gate in Vietnam, a foreigner whose DN1 visa is close to or expired can carry out the DN1 visa extension procedure in Vietnam.
- Applying for an electronic visa, if the visa expires, a foreigner who wants to continue to stay must leave Vietnam and then carry out procedures for a DN1 visa.
Documents for Business DN1 visa include what?
To apply for a Vietnam Business DN1 visa, foreigners and sponsoring companies need to carry out procedures to have an Approval Entry Letter. Then go to the Vietnamese Embassy abroad or the international border gate to stamp the visa.
Application for Approval Entry Letter must prepare:
- A copy of passport
- Business registration license of the guarantee company
- Application form for issuance of entry dispatch for foreigners - NA2 form
- Application for registration of company seal specimen - N16 form
- Documents proving the purpose of entry: the power of attorney, letter of invitation,...
- And other documents on request
If the application is approved, the Immigration Department will issue an Approval Entry Letter to the guarantee company. The guarantee company needs to notify and send an Approval Entry Letter to the foreigner to complete the DN1 visa procedure.
