When Should You Contact a Vietnamese Embassy or Consulate in Europe?
Vietnamese citizens in Europe may need to contact Vietnamese representative missions in the following cases:
- Lost passport or travel documents;
- Expired, damaged or renewal-needed passport;
- Need for travel documents to return to Vietnam;
- Consular certification or consular legalization of documents;
- Birth registration, marriage registration, civil status annotation or other civil status procedures;
- Confirmation of personal, academic, employment or residence documents;
- Emergency situations such as accidents, detention, natural disasters, conflict or citizen protection needs;
- Guidance on nationality, repatriation or documents for use in Vietnam.
